Extent of the Waterways -  River Suir                      

The River Suir branches west from the top of Waterford Estuary at Cheekpoint, passing through Waterford Port and City and then on past valleys, castles, heritage railways, villages to Carrick On Suir in the Golden Vale.

The Suir flows from the Devilsbit Mountain south through: Thurles, Holycross, Caher, Ardfinnan, Clonmel, Kilsheelan, Carrick-On-Suir, Fiddown, Waterford, Cheekpoint until the sea.
